Information on Personal Data Processing/Protection

At ReginaMed Clinic, we prioritize the security, privacy, and protection of your personal data. With this awareness, we are dedicated to processing and storing all your personal data in the best possible way and with great care. Aware of this responsibility, as a legal Data Controller, we process your personal data as described below in accordance with the Turkish Penal Code, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, the Regulation on Processing and Protection of Personal Health Data, and other relevant legislation.

Purposes of Collecting Personal Data

To provide higher quality services to patients and their relatives, we collect your personal data verbally, in writing, visually, or electronically through channels such as Call Centers, internet, mobile applications, physical facilities, and similar means. Within this framework, the general and sensitive personal data collected, primarily for the execution of all medical diagnosis, examination, treatment, and care services, are as follows:

  • Your name, surname,
  • Your national ID number,
  • If you are not a Turkish citizen, your passport number or temporary ID number, place and date of birth, marital status, gender, and a copy of your ID card or driver’s license,
  • Your address, phone number, email address,
  • Your bank account number, IBAN number,
  • Audio recordings of calls made with our Call Center,
  • Your story, responses, and comments shared to evaluate our services,
  • Laboratory and imaging results, test results, examination data, and prescription information provided to track your file,
  • Your health and sexual life-related data obtained during medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services,
  • Video and audio recordings obtained through our closed-circuit camera system during your visit to our clinic,
  • Social Security Institution data for the planning and financing of healthcare services,
  • Data related to private health insurance and supplementary health insurance,
  • Your license plate number if you use our clinic’s parking and valet services,
  • Browsing information, IP address, browser information, and medical documents, surveys, form data, and location information provided voluntarily during the use of our website and mobile application,
  • Job application forms.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The personal and sensitive personal data listed above are processed for the following purposes:

  • Conducting medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services,
  • Protecting public health, preventive healthcare,
  • Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements,
  • Sharing requested information with institutions like the SSI, private insurance companies, and others for eligibility inquiries,
  • Financing your healthcare services, meeting examination, diagnosis, and treatment expenses,
  • Informing you about your appointments via our Call Center and Digital Channels,
  • Verifying your identity by Patient Services, Healthcare Professionals, and Call Center departments,
  • Planning and managing internal operations by Clinic Management,
  • Conducting analyses to improve healthcare services by Quality, Patient Experience, and Information Systems departments,
  • Fulfilling training, education, and internship activities in collaboration with educational institutions,
  • Providing training to our employees by Human Resources and Quality departments,
  • Monitoring and preventing abuse and unauthorized transactions by Audit and Information Systems departments,
  • Conducting risk management and quality improvement activities by Quality, Patient Experience, and Information Systems departments,
  • Issuing invoices for our services by Patient Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing departments,
  • Confirming your relationship with institutions partnered with our clinic by Patient Services, Financial Affairs, and Marketing departments,
  • Addressing all inquiries and complaints regarding our healthcare services by Patient Experience, Patient Rights, and Call Center departments,
  • Taking all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure data security for our clinic’s systems and applications by Information Systems departments,
  • Designing and delivering special content, tangible and intangible benefits on web and mobile channels, and sharing campaign information by Corporate Marketing, Media and Communication, and Call Center departments,
  • Measuring, increasing, and researching patient satisfaction by Patient Rights and Patient Experience departments.

The personal and sensitive personal data listed above will be securely stored in physical and electronic archives within ReginaMed Clinic and external service providers, in compliance with legal regulations.

Sharing of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with the following entities and organizations:

  • The Ministry of Health and its subunits,
  • Private insurance companies,
  • The Social Security Institution,
  • Law enforcement agencies,
  • The Civil Registry,
  • Judicial authorities,

  • Third parties, including your attorneys, tax advisors, and auditors,

  • Suppliers and business partners collaborating with ReginaMed Clinic.

Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 11 of Law No. 6698, as the owner of personal data, you can exercise the following rights by applying to our clinic:

  • Learning whether personal data is processed,
  • Requesting information if personal data has been processed,
  • Accessing and requesting your personal health data,
  • Learning the purpose of processing personal data,
  • Requesting correction if personal data is incomplete or incorrect,
  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data,
  • Requesting compensation if personal data is processed unlawfully and you suffer harm.

Personal Data Security and Requesting Information

Your personal data is meticulously protected using technical and administrative means, and necessary security measures are taken against potential risks. You can submit your requests under the Law No. 6698 to our clinic in person, via a notary, or by filling out the relevant form on our website.
